The first modernizes the research infrastructure at Statistics Denmark, so researchers can work with new and complex data sources and train large models on Danish register data inside a secure analysis environment. The second develops research on how AI algorithms can be used responsibly in society, including how to ensure that algorithms in public use meet basic requirements of equal treatment, transparency and trust, and that they keep working as intended after deployment.
